Join Julie's Bicycle for the launch of its Sustaining Creativity programme on 28th May, which will explore cultural leadership on environmental sustainability. Speakers, discussions and practical workshops will unpack practical approaches we can take to support the transition to a sustainable sector.
It will look at key themes through the lens of environmental sustainability:
Value: Alternative approaches to how we measure and explore value culturally, socially and financially.
Digital: Thinking about how digital connectivity and data can influence our approach to environmental change.
Circularity: Developing design methodologies and partnerships to increase circular use of resources and materials within the sector and more widely.
Governance: The key issues and recommendations for boards and senior leaders in culture.
The Lab will be in collaboration with the Sustaining Creativity programme partners, including: Technology Strategy Board, SustainRCA, RSA, Volans, Pervasive Media Studio, John Elkington, John Kieffer, John Holden, and Haworth Tompkins Architects.
The aim is for everyone to leave with a sense of agency and tangible outcomes - actions, new contacts and potential partnerships for making change happen.
