H&VNews reports that following the first three rounds of the HEFCE Revolving Green Fund, a further £34m is to be invested in the scheme. In the upcoming round, higher education institutions will be able to bid for funds for both small and large scale carbon saving projects and, for the first time, water reduction projects.

Not sure if this is the perfect answer to expensive student accommodation costs, especially if you are keen to add a bit of partying till dawn into your student experience. Positive News are reporting a bedroom exchange scheme for students to swap their room for a room in the town or city where there university place is.
