LSiOnline reports on Genelec's official unveiling of their Intelligent Signal-Sensing technology, which allows the amplifiers to monitor whether they are being used or not, and reduce power accordingly - in line with both Europe and Genelec's own sustainability ambitions. More here...

I saw these at the Energy Solutions show at Olympia last week. Made entirely from wool (apart from bindings and fixings) these acoustic panels absorb reverberations. 

With full acoustic data available, and other products such as wall boards and loudspeaker wadding, the wool all comes from within 55 miles of the workshop. At end of life they can be recycled or composted.
