Lancashire County Council has recommended that permission for fracking be denied in the Little Plumpton and Roseacre Wood sites. The local council is due to make a decision tomorrow.
The recommendation comes following the blaming of fracking work for small earthquakes experienced in the area in 2011. You can read the full report at BBC News....
BBC News reports that the Liverpool Everyman theatre is reopening this weekend after being rebuilt at a cost of £27m. The Everyman became famous in the 1970s for launching the careers of actors like Bill Nighy, Julie Walters, Pete Postlethwaite and Sir Anthony Sher.
